Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to join a float pool based at WestHealth clinic, covering imaging services across multiple sites. This is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period) with variable day/evening shifts, Monday–Friday and no weekend work.

Mileage reimbursement is provided. You will perform abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN and vascular imaging, provide ultrasound guidance for interventional procedures, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound; or
• Vocational/Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology with 2-year Diagnostic Ultrasound training; ARDMS registered or registry eligible

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures per physician orders and department guidelines with accuracy.
• Documents all aspects of the procedure and verifies image transfer.
• Maintains safe patient environment and uses Excellian EMR for documentation.
• Communicates issues and ideas to supervisor and team.
• Performs interventional guidance and cross-site imaging as assigned.
