Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to join a float pool with home base at WestHealth clinic, providing imaging coverage across multiple Minnesota sites. The role is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period) with Day/Evening shifts, no weekend work, and mileage reimbursement.

Required are ARDMS certification and 3+ years of sonography experience; external hires may receive a $7,500 starting bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or Radiologic Technology with ultrasound training
• ARDMS registered or registry eligible as applicable
• 3+ years of Diagnostic Sonography experience

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures per physician orders and department guidelines
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents procedure details
• Observes and communicates with patient ensuring safety and comfort
• Performs procedures with accuracy and maintains equipment knowledge
• Uses Excellian EMR and ensures post-procedure documentation is complete
• Communicates with supervisor and team; supports colleagues
• Other duties as assigned
