Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer for the float pool with home base at WestHealth clinic, providing coverage across imaging sites. The role is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two-week pay period) with Day/Evening shifts and a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, plus mileage reimbursement.

Requirements include an associate degree in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent radiologic tech training, ARDMS registration (or eligibility), and 3+ years’ sonography experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or equivalent radiologic tech training.
• ARDMS certification or registry eligible/Registered within 6 months where applicable.
• 3+ years of Diagnostic Sonography experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, vascular imaging and provides sonography guidance per department policies and ACR.
• Documents accurately all aspects of the procedure and uses two patient identifiers.
• Maintains safe patient environment and ensures images transfer to imaging storage system.
