Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients of all ages, under the direction of a Radiologist, with emphasis on image quality and radiation safety.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology; the candidate will train staff, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate patient data in HIS/Radiant and PACS. Carle Health offers sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Qualifications

• Registered in Radiography (ARRT)
• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Illinois (IEMA)

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures with accuracy and under Radiologist direction.
• Exhibits competency and serves as resource during procedures.
• Ensures image quality using proper filters, collimation, markers and patient ID.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation safety throughout procedures.
• Keeps equipment and room organized; troubleshoots when needed.
• Performs lab tests as appropriate.
