NYU Langone Health in New York is seeking a Technologist, X-Ray to perform diagnost ic radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory standards, delivering high-quality images and safe patient care.

The role requires precise patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety (ALARA), and strict adherence to RIS/PACS workflows, with commitment to teamwork and continual quality improvement.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently following department protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety; use markers and shielding as required.
• Generate high-quality digital images and hard copies when needed; review for technical quality before submission to PACS/EMR.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy and dignity; follow isolation and infection prevention protocols.
