Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of license.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per protocols.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure.
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Follow radiation safety principles (ALARA) and equipment QC.
