NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on quality imaging and patient safety. The role requires independent work, adherence to protocols, and strong teamwork within a busy radiology department.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited associate degree or certificate and NYS Radiologic Technology license; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Formación

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per departmental protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Select and adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Review images for technical quality and completeness prior to submission to PACS/EMR.
• Follow radiographic requisitions and isolation precautions as required.
