Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality radiographs, assist with diagnostic imaging, and maintain equipment and records. The role requires completing an accredited radiography program and holding NJ RT license and ARRT certification, along with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

ARRT Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
