Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging with radiologic equipment, under the direction of a Radiologist. You will generate high-quality diagnostic images and maintain accurate records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Preference given to those with hospital experience and 0–3 years in radiography. Morristown, NJ location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State RT license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
