Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography imaging and assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures. You will prepare equipment, maintain records, and ensure patient safety according to state and professional guidelines.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Experience is preferred but 0–3 years acceptable; strong communication and patient care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures per state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment and ensures safety and sanitation.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Maintains equipment and monitors safety and patient comfort.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and revises as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of Accredited Radiography School

0-3 years of Radiography experience

NJ State Radiologic Technologist license

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
