Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic imaging under the direction of a Radiologist. The role includes patient history intake, explaining procedures, and maintaining records and equipment with a focus on safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiography program, hold NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes per state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment; ensures proper setup, troubleshooting and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses questions or concerns.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety, comfort, and physiological well-being of patients.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors need for revisions.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
