Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Specialist to manage advanced imaging exams across its district. You will act as the first point of contact for the Imaging Services department, guiding patients, referring offices, and clinical staff to coordinate appointments and procedures.

You will use Epic Cadence, Radiant, and OnBase to retrieve and file information, ensuring accuracy, appropriate prep, and clear communication for patients with diverse needs and limited English

Qualifications

• Strong Medical Terminology Knowledge required.
• Strong clerical and computer skills.
• Minimum 6 months scheduling experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Schedule advanced imaging and procedures across sites to maximize access.
• Provide friendly, clear communication to patients and referring offices.
• Enter and verify patient registration data and orders in the system.
• Coordinate approvals and prep information for imaging exams.
• Assist with pre-authorizations and reschedules as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
