Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months Diagnostic Imaging department experience and/or training; or experience in a clinical support position (a physician office or healthcare facility).
• 6 months to 1 year relevant experience
• Within 6 months of hire into job in BLS (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate appointments across eight imaging modalities.
• Transcribe orders into Epic and correct orders for physician signature.
• Import orders, authorizations, and demographics into Epic; verify patient information.
• Coordinate emergent/outpatient/inpatient scheduling with multiple departments and physicians.
• Assist radiologists and technologists to maintain high quality patient care and patient experience.
