Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Central Diagnostic Scheduler to coordinate patient procedures for diagnostic imaging across Samaritan locations. You will ensure smooth workflow, accurate data entry, and clear patient communications.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Prefer diagnostic imaging modality experience.
• Computer skills required; English language with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient procedures for diagnostic imaging.
• Coordinate procedure times with radiology, imaging modalities and other hospital departments.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information for pre-certification and authorization.
• Educate patients on procedural preparations and ensure proper documentation.
