Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of experience in DFM, PCB fabrication engineering, or SMT process engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Familiarity with high-density, complex electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Run pre‑DFM analysis on assigned packages using automated toolsets (e.g., Valor) and issue formal reports.
• Log every DFM finding with severity, routing paths, and technical evidence.
• Partner with layout engineers to resolve findings and drive design changes or mitigations.
• Verify closure of dispositions on subsequent build revisions with evidence.
• Provide site SMT support for DFM, PCB fabrication, and SMT process questions.
• Propose rule changes and maintain Valor encodings for scope.
