Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in DFM, PCB fabrication engineering, or SMT process engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with IPC standards and PCB design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-DFM screening on assigned packages using automated tools and issue formal reports within turnaround times.
• Log every DFM finding with severity, routing, and technical evidence in the central register.
• Collaborate with layout engineers to drive design changes or mitigations.
• Verify closure of dispositions on subsequent builds with documented evidence.
• Support site-level DFM, PCB fabrication, and SMT process questions for assigned programs.
• Propose rule changes when findings recur and maintain Valor encodings.
