Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking an experienced PCB Layout & Design for Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturability and production readiness across the organization. The role focuses on complex, high-density multilayer PCB designs and DFM methodologies from schematics to manufacturing data packages.

The candidate will lead DFM reviews, develop rule sets aligned with IPC standards, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to optimize design and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field; equivalent technical expertise considered.
• 10+ years of PCB layout experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
• 5+ years of experience supporting PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, or DFM activities.
• Experience with multilayer, high-density PCB layouts from completed electrical schematics.
• Experience with PCB EDA tools; Altium preferred; familiarity with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or PADS.

Responsibilities

• Perform DFM analysis on circuit card assemblies and lead DFM/ DFA assessments.
• Review Gerber, ODB++, BOM, and fabrication data packages for completeness and manufacturability.
• Lead DFM review meetings with manufacturing, process engineering, quality, and customers.
• Prepare DFM reports, technical presentations, and executive summaries.
• Develop and maintain PCB layouts, stack-ups, routing topologies, and design constraints to satisfy SI, TI, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
