Job summary

TT Electronics plc is seeking a CAD Specialist to support PCB data packages, reviews, and production readiness. You will liaise between customers, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve design issues and enable successful launches.

The role requires 3–7 years in PCB engineering, proficiency with Valor DFM and major PCB tools, and the ability to read fabrication docs and drawings. Onsite collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3–7 years in PCB engineering or electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM methods.
• Experience with Valor DFM and PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication docs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release PCB manufacturing packages with drawings, Gerber files, and documentation.
• Coordinate package reviews and ensure data accuracy for manufacturing readiness.
• Perform DFM reviews using Valor and other tools, providing feedback to teams.
• Create panel drawings, optimize layouts, and evaluate panel utilization.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
