Job summary

Creation Technologies in the United States seeks a PCB Layout & DFM Engineer to drive manufacturability and production readiness, serving as the SME for complex PCB layout, Valor DFM, Design for Assembly, and fabrication processes.

From schematics, you will develop high-density multilayer PCB designs using Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and related tools, generate fabrication deliverables, and help codify design standards across global engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years PCB layout experience in manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years supporting PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, or DFM activities.
• Extensive experience designing multilayer, high-density PCB layouts.
• Proficiency with PCB EDA tools: Altium, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, PADS.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFM and DFA assessments for PCB assemblies.
• Utilize Valor NPI or related tools for manufacturability analysis.
• Develop DFM rules aligned with IPC standards and fabrication capabilities.
• Review Gerber, ODB++, BOM, centroid, and data packages for manufacturability.
• Lead DFM review meetings with manufacturing, process engineering, quality, and customers.
