Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, and observability across AWS-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and release pipelines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available services. The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/Platform roles and hands-on cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment automation.
• Scripting or programming to automate infra operations and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities.
• Build internal tools to boost developer productivity and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering to adopt DevOps best practices and improve deployment flows.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive reliability improvements across the platform.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Own infrastructure projects contributing to long-term platform health.
