Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our mission-critical public safety platform. You will focus on improving infrastructure reliability, automating deployments, enhancing observability, and enabling engineering teams to develop and deliver software efficiently.

You will work closely with Engineering, Security, and other cross-functional teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is scalable, secure, highly available, and fault tolerant,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE roles.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience in production.
• Proficiency with IaC, Terraform and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infra for scalability and reliability.
• Build and maintain IaC with Terraform to provision resources.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for builds and deployments.
• Drive GitOps with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Enhance observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Develop internal tools to boost developer productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve deployment workflows.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and on-call incident response.
• Own infrastructure projects for long-term platform health.
