Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain our public safety platform in the cloud. You’ll improve reliability, automate deployments, and enhance observability to support rapid software delivery.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps/Platform Engineering or similar role.
• Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with IaC, especially Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Observation/monitoring, logging, and alerting expertise.
• Scripting to automate infra operations and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform for provisioning and management.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Drive GitOps practices with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Improve platform observability via monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Create internal tools to boost developer productivity and streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve deployment workflows and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive infrastructure performance improvements.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support production.
• Own infrastructure projects contributing to scalability and health.
