Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Developmental Specialist to support individuals with mental health diagnoses, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders in achieving personal goals and building community connections.

You will assess needs, promote self-determination, and document progress while complying with agency policies. Sleepovers may be required, and occasional transportation support is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with populations with mental health diagnoses, IDD, or substance use disorders.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals for hopes, dreams, and desires to facilitate achievement.
• Support community integration and development of relationships with natural supports.
• Assist individuals in participating in community activities aligned with their interests.
