Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. in Dublin, OH is seeking a full-time accounting professional to manage finances for individuals served under the Circle of Care. Responsibilities include ensuring timely payments of rent and utilities, managing petty cash, and reconciling bank statements. Training is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

The role emphasizes collaboration with program managers to maintain accurate financial records and comply with service plans, with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting, social services or human services is preferred.
• Candidates with 3+ years of accounting or developmental disabilities experience will be considered.
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individual’s finances and benefits as outlined in the individual’s service plan and per company policy.
• Ensure individual’s basic needs such as rent, utilities, etc. are paid consistently and timely.
• Ensure spending money and petty cash is available at each site per the individual’s service plan.
• Submit cost of living to county boards, as applicable.
• Order checks for individuals timely.
• Set up online bill pay for individuals, as applicable.
• Review monthly finance packets and complete monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Program Managers and other management to ensure accuracy with individual’s finances.
