Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a dedicated finance-support professional to manage client finances and benefits per the service plan, ensuring timely payments of rent and utilities.

You will work with Program Managers and leadership to ensure accuracy in finances, handle checks, online bill pay, monthly reconciliations, and contribute to cost of living submissions. The role requires a four-year degree (accounting or human services) or 3+ years of relevant experience, strong MS

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting, social services or human services preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or developmental disabilities will also be considered.
• Experience working in Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individual’s finances and benefits as outlined in the service plan and per company policy.
• Ensure individual’s basic needs such as rent, utilities, etc. are paid consistently and timely.
• Ensure spending money and petty cash is available at each site per the service plan.
• Submit cost of living to county boards, as applicable.
• Order checks for individuals timely.
• Set up online bill pay for individuals, as applicable.
• Review monthly finance packets and complete monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Program Managers and other management to ensure accuracy with individual’s finances.

Responsibilities may include:

• Monitor individual’s finances and benefits as outlined in the individual’s service plan and per company policy.

• Supervisory or management experience is a plus


• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
