ViaQuest in Dublin, OH is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Payeeship Specialist to manage clients’ finances and benefits, ensuring timely payments of rent, utilities, and petty cash in alignment with service plans. The role supports collaboration with program managers to maintain accuracy and compliance.

The position is full-time, on-site, with standard Mon-Fri hours and a salary of $45,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting, social services or human services preferred.
• Experience in accounting or developmental disabilities will be considered with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individual’s finances and benefits as outlined in the service plan and policy.
• Ensure basic needs such as rent and utilities are paid on time.
• Ensure spending money and petty cash is available at each site per plan.
• Submit cost of living to county boards where applicable.
• Order checks for individuals in a timely manner.
• Set up online bill pay for individuals when applicable.
• Review monthly finance packets and reconcile bank accounts monthly.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure accuracy of finances.
