Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Development to support the delivery of new construction and capital improvement projects across a portfolio of military housing communities in Norfolk, VA.

You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinating architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards. The role reports to the VP of Development and requires 4–6 years of PM experience in residential construction, with a preference

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of project management experience in both new construction and renovation projects.
• Experience managing residential construction projects (multifamily or single-family).
• Experience in military or affordable housing development preferred.
• Knowledge of schedules, budgets, GMP/bid processes, and coordination with architects/engineers/GCs.

Responsibilities

• Manages ground-up development projects from entitlement through construction and closeout.
• Supports due diligence, permitting, and pre-construction planning for new development opportunities.
• Coordinates architects, engineers, and general contractors through design, GMP/bid, and construction phases.
• Tracks construction progress, identifies risks, and recommends timely remedies.
• Manages schedules, budgets, and reporting to leadership.
• Ensures compliance with military installation requirements and base access protocols.
