Job summary

Popular Democracy is seeking a Development Operations Associate to support and coordinate fundraising operations across Institutional Giving and Donor Organizing. This non-exempt role focuses on donor data systems, gift processing, and reporting; occasional travel to DC-area office or affiliates may be required.

The ideal candidate has experience with Salesforce and EveryAction, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to social justice.

Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce and EveryAction for donor management.
Strong data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manage gift-processing and revenue-tracking systems for online and offline donations.
Produce routine and customised Salesforce reports and maintain data integrity.
Serve as first contact for donor inquiries by email and phone.
Support donor cultivation by maintaining records and prospect notes.
Coordinate team operations, calendars, folders, and retreat planning.
Manage renewal applications related to charitable solicitations and registrations.
Assist grant-seeking with funder research and submissions.
Collaborate across teams to advance fundraising priorities and troubleshoot data issues.
Support fundraising on specific tasks.
Travel to affiliates and events as assigned.
Other related duties as needed.
