Job summary

Echoing Green is seeking a Development Associate to manage donor data, process gifts, and support fundraising operations across the organization. The role collaborates with Finance, Programs, Communications, and leadership to ensure accurate records and effective fundraising engagement.

Reporting to the VP of Development, you’ll handle data management, reporting, and donor communications while helping improve systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, administration, research, data management, fundraising, project coordination, or similar.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy; asks questions when information is unclear.
• Strong organizational skills; can manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear and respectful communication; ability to summarize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor data in Salesforce and generate reports for leadership.
• Process gifts accurately with Finance for coding, allocation, and reconciliation.
• Prepare gift acknowledgments and tax receipts with clear records for donor stewardship.
• Conduct prospect research and briefings to identify potential funders and inform engagement.
• Coordinate Development tasks across teams and support events and cross-functional projects.
