Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator for our Southwest Regional office in Dallas, TX. This office-based position offers a hybrid schedule and requires strong administrative and data-management skills.

You will support fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and cross-functional projects, collaborating with leadership and volunteers to advance cardiovascular health goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least 5 years of administrative support experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook; training may be provided.
• Ability to work outside standard hours, including some evenings and/or weekends, and travel to local events.
• Ability to lift and/or move large objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
• Interpret and communicate organizational programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain filing systems, records, and administrative processes.
• Respond to inquiries and provide procedural guidance.
• Coordinate meetings, conferences, seminars, and cross-functional activities.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
