The American Heart Association is hiring a Development Director for the Denver market. This office-based role offers a hybrid schedule and ~75% travel within the territory, focusing on generating revenue for Impact campaigns and leading Leaders of Impact initiatives.

The role includes developing sponsorships, managing volunteers, and coordinating events to meet revenue targets while supporting the mission. Competitive compensation with incentive potential is provided.

Formación

• Three years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.
• University or college degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% and some overnight trips; reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift/move large objects; heavier items may need assistance.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorships and individual donations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective sponsors and donors for campaign goals.
• Develop and present proposals and materials to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
• Recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership and event volunteers.
• Coordinate the event auction with volunteers to raise funds.
• Lead and engage new individual membership for Cor Vitae giving society with events.
• Plan and implement events with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Communications Director to support campaign plans.
