Job summary

American Heart Association in Dallas/Irv­ing, TX, is hiring a Development Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Heart Walk & CycleNation team. The role focuses on data entry, reports, budgeting, and marketing collateral for fundraising events.

You will liaison between teams, handle inquiries, assist with event planning, and manage sponsor agreements and invoices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in project management and/or finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to travel locally up to 25%; reliable transportation.
• Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
• Knowledge of Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Heart Walk & CycleNation team including ordering supplies, inventory, data entry, reports, and marketing collateral.
• Serve as liaison between Heart Walk & CycleNation team, communications, and events on collateral, sponsorship activation, and details.
• Handle customer service inquiries mailbox and respond to emails/phone inquiries.
• Assist with Heart Walk & CycleNation events planning and execution (pre-, day-, post-event).
• Manage accounting, financing, reporting for events including sponsor agreements, invoices, donations, and sponsor payments.
• Adhere to budgeting practices and track budget status.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, conferences, and seminars for team and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
