Job summary

The American Heart Association in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator to perform complex administrative support and program assistance. This is an office-based role with a hybrid schedule, located in Irving, TX.

You will support fundraising campaigns, data management, communications, and leadership projects, collaborating with volunteers and healthcare professionals to advance Go Red for Women initiatives in Dallas and Collin County.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least 5 years of prior administrative support experience in a related environment.
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing, and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. These skills are subject to testing.
• Ability to work outside of standard hours, which may involve some evenings and/or weekends, and the ability to travel to local events.
• Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components, or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
• Interpret and communicate organizational programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain filing systems, records, and administrative processes.
• Respond to inquiries and provide procedural guidance.
• Coordinate meetings, conferences, seminars, and cross-functional activities.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Support Go Red for Women fundraising campaigns in Dallas and Collin County.
• Manage website and email projects for timely execution.
