American Heart Association in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator to provide complex administrative support and program assistance to the Greater Houston team. This office-based role requires strong analytical skills, multi-tasking, and independent work habits.

You will handle data analytics, donor management, budgeting support, and reporting, while coordinating with senior leadership and donors to ensure timely stewardship and accurate financial processes.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience; 1 year supporting senior/executive-level management is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with all staff, volunteers and the public.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support to the Greater Houston team and SVP/Executive Director related to data analytics, database management, reporting, and financials.
• Lead on database management and data quality checks using CRM database and other event software.
• Manage accounting tasks: processing checks/donations, mail, cash handling, bank runs, invoices; follow up on donor pledge payments.
• Adhere to budgeting processes and track budgets.
• Guide accounts receivable and cash handling policies; attend monthly accounting calls and share highlights.
• Maintain donor contact information and communicate with donors regularly.
• Coordinate with SVP/Executive Director for timely donor stewardship and follow-up.
• Maintain orderly filing system for correspondence and documents.
• Research current and prospective donors and leadership volunteers to identify backgrounds and giving history.
• Segment donor data and disseminate results through profiles and reports; analyze financial information.
