Job summary

Hurricane Island Outward Bound in Camden, Maine, is seeking a Development & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our fundraising and finance operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Salesforce experience preferred.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising or development and QBO, Accounting Seed, or other accounting software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor, gift, pledge, and campaign records in Salesforce following standard operating procedures.
• Process gifts and pledges accurately and prepare donor acknowledgment letters in a timely manner following standard operating procedures.
• Build and generate reports & mailing lists.
• Prepare and send invoices, apply payments and scholarships, and initiate collections reminders.
• Help coordinate donor mailings, fundraising appeals, newsletters, invitations, and event communications.
• Occasional administrative support for the Executive Director, Board, and Council.
