Job summary

The Salvation Army Alaska Division is seeking a diligent Donor Relations Coordinator to support the Community Relations and Development Department. You will manage donor databases, process acknowledgements and tax statements, and coordinate volunteer records; you will also back up front office and assist with events and communications.

Qualifications

• Three years’ relevant, professional experience preferred; a minimum of three years is required.
• Experience in data management and analysis, and generation of pertinent reports; experience with database navigation and management. Blackbaud experience preferred.
• Current Alaska Driver’s License with acceptable driving and criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor acknowledgements, year-end tax statements, and donor inquiries; update profiles and mailing attributes.
• Maintain Volunteer Management System and process volunteer paperwork; ensure background checks are completed.
• Produce Portfolio reports as requested by the Development Director.
• Process credit card donations, including setup of recurring donations.
• Load files for mailings with direct marketing vendor; assist with events as needed.
• Provide general office support to the Development team and assist with other areas as requested.
