Job summary

Lukos seeks a Social Worker / Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees in Philipsburg, PA. The role partners with ERO and detention facilities to manage consent, communications, and care planning for vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities include facilitating translation, addressing detainee needs, and coordinating access to medical, mental health, and social services within a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree or advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs and complaints related to immigration cases.
• Support ERO and detention facility staff with services for vulnerable populations.
• Provide language interpretation and facilitate disability accommodations.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups as requested by ERO HQ/Field Office.
• Meet newly detained individuals to orient them to CRC services.
