Job summary

Lukos LLC. in Tacoma, WA seeks a Custody and Resource Coordinator to assist ICE detainees and facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment. You will provide support on trauma-related and victim services, including medical and mental health care, with duties at designated detention facilities or ICE offices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with ERO staff, handling sensitive cases, language interpretation, and resource coordination for vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience with victims, trauma-informed work, or immigrant populations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Experience with victims in custodial or detention settings.
• Experience with vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of case management processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist detainees with ICE requests and issues via intake forms.
• Support ERO officers with parent/child communication and welfare matters.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Facilitate compliance with agency policies and detention standards.
• Provide language interpretation for detained populations.
• Offer referrals for medical, mental health, and chaplain services.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable individuals.
• Meet newly detained individuals to orient them to CRC services.
• Support specialized housing units for vulnerable populations.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database.
