GEO Secured Services in Colorado is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee detainee security operations, staff, and daily records. You will enforce policies, coordinate routines, and ensure compliance with procedures in a fast-paced correctional environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of detention officer experience and 2 years in field supervision, with strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to support safe, humane custody and orderly facility operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year detention officer experience and 2 years in field supervision.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Supervisor assists in developing and implementing custody, security and treatment policies.
• Responds to major unusual occurrences and facilitates support for detainees/inmates.
• Directs work of other employees, including hiring, training and performance reviews.
• Reviews disciplinary matters and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Maintains daily logs and prepares records/reports as assigned.
• Ensures facility goals and safety standards are met and supervises detainee staff.
