GEO Secured Services is seeking a vigilant supervisor to oversee security and staff in a detainee setting. The role emphasizes coordination of custody and safety, ensuring required records and reports are prepared and maintained.

You will contribute to policy development and staff training, directing personnel, evaluating performance, and enforcing procedures to maintain secure operations and compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• College coursework and advanced training in behavioral sciences, correctional services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security/control activities and staff in an assigned area, maximizing facility coordination in detainee supervision and safety.
• Assists in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and regulations for custody, security and/or treatment of detainees.
• Directs work of other employees, including hiring, evaluation, training, promotion and disciplinary actions.
