• Responds to major unusual occurrences and facilitates assistance to detainees/inmates.
• Directs the work of other employees and participates in staffing decisions and training.
• Reviews disciplinary matters involving staff and detainees and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Maintains daily logs and prepares records and reports as assigned.
