Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime as required (OT) up to extended hours.
• Able to handle physical and mental stress from security environment.
• Must possess an active, valid driver's license.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor detainees in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas.
• Coordinate detainee movement (counts; emergency response as needed).
• Ensure program activities stay safe and supervise labor crews.
• Conduct shakedowns for contraband and confiscate prohibited items.
• Keep daily detainee logs and disciplinary reports.
• Provide prompt assistance to detainees who are injured or ill.
• Report maintenance or repair needs for a clean facility.
