Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class B or Class C CDL with Passenger endorsement within 60 days of hire.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol test and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Ensure permits and licenses are current before trips.
• Ensure safety equipment is present before trips and report defects.
• Complete paperwork accurately and submit to supervisors per policy.
• Secure detainees before leaving facility and during transport.
• Follow all safety laws, regulations, and company procedures.
• Communicate incidents promptly to management and authorities as required.
• Transport vehicles to servicing and return them to the facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
