Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is hiring for a full-time detainee transport driver to securely move detainees between destinations. You will ensure vehicles are safe, documented, and compliant with all applicable laws.

Qualified applicants hold a Class B/C CDL with a Passenger endorsement, have passed DOT drug testing, and can perform pre- and post-trip inspections. The role requires vigilance, safety-first mindset, and the ability to work long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; state requisites apply.
• Must hold a valid Class B or Class C CDL with Passenger endorsement at hire.
• DOT drug and alcohol testing must be passed and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections and DVIRs.
• Ensure all permits/licenses are valid before trips; report issues to supervisor.
• Verify safety equipment and secure detainees during transport to facilities or destinations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and submit reports per policy.
