Job summary

Electronic Systems Sioux Falls is hiring a Production Associate for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7am–3:30pm) with Saturdays 6am–11am. The role involves assembling low-volume and prototype projects, inserting components by hand, and ensuring precise placement for quality output.

Qualified candidates have at least three years in manufacturing/assembly, strong dexterity, and attention to detail. ITAR considerations apply; full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and understand verbal or written English instructions.
• Self-starter who collaborates effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble low-volume and prototype projects from prints or assembly instructions.
• Insert electronic components by hand into printed circuit boards.
• Ensure accuracy of component placement and final product assembly.
• Mentor teammates on assembly and soldering techniques to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teammates to share techniques that support quality and efficiency.
• Communicate job status to team leaders.
• Perform testing, packing, and related detail-oriented tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement and occasional overtime as needed
