Job summary

Le Moyne College in Syracuse invites applications for a Desktop Systems Administrator to manage the lifecycle of personal and mobile computing devices and academic software across Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and iOS. You will lead imaging, deployment, patching, and hardware integration while supervising ~10 student staff within the SNS team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic preparation is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience supporting desktop, software, and mobile systems.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of computing devices, imaging, and deployment across multiple platforms.
• Distribute software updates and security patches per standards.
• Integrate third-party hardware into the computing environment.
• Develop and document best practices for device and software support.
• Oversee end-to-end management of academic software and virtualization.
• Supervise approximately 10 student staff and coordinate training.
