Job summary

Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY seeks a Technology Support Specialist to maintain end-user technology across campus, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and classroom tech for students, faculty and staff.

You will join a team of IT Helpdesk specialists, respond to tickets, carry out device replacements per lifecycle schedules, and use JAMF, SCCM and InTune to keep devices properly configured for enterprise and instructional use.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a technology-rich environment.
• Experience with Windows and/or Apple operating systems required; managed-device experience preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom technology and collaboration tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers and classroom technology.
• Respond to IT Helpdesk tickets and ensure timely, effective resolutions.
• Design and configure desktop setups and plan system upgrades for staff and students.
• Utilize device management tools (JAMF, SCCM, InTune) to keep devices properly configured.
