Job summary

Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a Desktop Systems Administrator to manage personal and mobile computing devices and associated software lifecycle. The role supervises student staff and advances the college’s mission by ensuring secure, reliable IT services.

You will lead device imaging, software updates, and integration of peripherals across Windows, Mac, ChromeOS, and iOS, while supporting academic software and on-campus users in a Jesuit educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic preparation from a regionally accredited college.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience supporting desktop, software, and mobile computing systems.
• Prior supervisory and/or team leadership experience in a professional work environment.
• Proficiency in Windows 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows registry and File and Print Services.
• Experience with Windows server operating systems and modern IT tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of desktop devices across Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, and iOS, including imaging and deployment.
• Manage academic software lifecycle, testing, virtualization, distribution, and support across platforms.
• Hire, train, and supervise ~10 student staff; develop training programs for SNS team.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and IT services; resolve incidents per standards.
