Loyola Blakefield seeks a Desktop Administrator in Towson, MD to support faculty, staff, and students with Microsoft Surface devices, software, and classroom technology. You will resolve problems, configure devices, and coordinate with Help Desk and Network teams in a diverse campus environment.

Required experience includes Windows 11, MDT/Intune, and Office 365 management, plus strong customer service and communication skills. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Associates degree or equivalent software industry experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 11.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues on various platforms including Surface and mobile devices.
• Experience with Microsoft MDT and Intune platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software.

• Interact with multiple platforms in a client/server environment, including cloud/conferencing systems and admin services.
• Train faculty and staff on hardware and software use and upgrades.
• Maintain and upgrade classroom technology and conferencing systems as needed.

Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and Windows operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position works with our end users and with other Technology Department Staff. The employee in this position also assists in configuration and support of the campus telephone and voice mail systems. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving.Key Responsibilities:Assists Faculty, Staff, and Students with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of Microsoft Surfaces, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software.Works with Help Desk and Network Staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients.Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment.
