Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. is seeking a System Support Specialist to serve as the primary helpdesk contact for staff across multiple sites.

You will install, diagnose, and repair PC hardware and software, while ensuring reliable workstation performance and user satisfaction. You will also train staff on systems, maintain inventories, and collaborate with network teams to keep the desktop environment secure and efficient.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Technical certifications encouraged.
• 2+ years of computer-related support experience.
• Extensive desktop and printer hardware support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 and basic server/network concepts.
• Experience with imaging drives, antivirus, and office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide single point of contact for end users to receive support.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot desktop problems in person, by phone, or by email.
• Coordinate with LAN staff to ensure desktop environment efficiency.
• Document issues, inventory, and training materials.
• Deliver instructor-led staff training on systems and software.
• Assist with moves, adds, and changes (MAC) requests.
